Companion Services
Home and Community Habilitation
Open Arms Group Inc. offers opportunities from volunteer work to social and recreational activities, such as cultural and educational outings alike.
Our wide-range of community-based activities is available to individuals residing with other provider agencies in community homes as well as those who are in life-sharing arrangements, living independently
or in their family’s home. The support help individuals to become more connected to the community and enhance their quality of life.
Community Participation Supports
Open Arms Group Inc. also participates in 100% Community Participation Supports (CPS).
CPS is a program that provides an array of support to adults with intellectual disabilities as well as assisting them with directing and developing individualized plans of support in conjunction with their families, teachers, significant others, community members, or whomever the individual identifies with.
Participants are allotted the opportunity to experience and create to their liking the development of Health, Wellness, and Leisure and Cultural interests with the implementation of yoga, walking, museums, musical theater, cooking classes, and much more.
Respite Care-Home Based
Sometimes the best support for an individual is in their own home or with family. We can assist with that care by offering supportive services to allow the individual to be empowered and ensure personal choice.
With these staff, individuals can continue to live life on their own terms. Open arms Group provides lifetime empowerment while giving love and support, and ensuring empathetic regard for personal choice and self-determination.
About Us
Who are Open Arms Group?
Open Arms Group Inc. operates an Home Community Based Services (HCBS) Program for individuals with IDD.
The purpose of this program service is to provide all individuals who attend the program with the opportunity to choose, plan, and participate in a broad range of activities. To include community based social/recreational activities, as well as to provide individuals with more functionally diverse activities.
